Shanghai Shuangshen Information Technology Co., Ltd. and its affiliates (hereinafter, "we" or "the Company"), as the operator of “Photo Search” (hereinafter, "the APP"), are fully aware of how important it is to keep your personal information safe and protect your privacy. We are committed to following the relevant laws and regulations to protect your personal information and privacy.   

This Privacy Policy describes our policies and procedures on the collection, use and disclosure of your information when you use the service and tells you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.

We use your Personal data to provide and improve the service. By using the APP, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

 

1. How We Ask for Permissions

 1.1 Photo Album Access 

When accessing the app, you will be required for your consent, by means of a pop-up, to enable us to index your photos and videos help you search for them quickly using natural language. Note that we will never access your local photo album without your permission, nor will we use any illegal methods to collect information or send ads. Our app can be used offline, so you don`t has to worry about information being uploaded to the cloud. For more details, see section 1.3 about network permissions. 

1.2 Camera Access

If you use the app`s search by image feature, we will request access to your camera, by means of a pop-up, so you can take a photo to search for similar images. Note that we will never turn on your microphone or camera without your explicit permission. 

1.3 Network Access 

We may ask for permission to use your network when you`re using the app, by means of a pop-up, to enable us to collect data like crash reports, app identifiers (such as Crashlytics Installation UUID or Firebase Installation ID), and log data. Note that this data is processed as breakdown data (strictly device identifier information), meaning it is not linked to any specific user or personal information. It only helps us understand how users, in general, are using the app.

1.4          You can enable or disable these permissions at any time, through your device settings.

 

2. Collecting and Using Your Personal Data

2.1 Use of Your Personal Data

The Company may use personal data for the following purposes:

l  To provide and maintain our service, including to monitor the usage of our service.

l  For the performance of a contract: to establish, comply with, and fulfill the products, projects, or services you use, or any other contracts entered into with us through this service.

l  To manage your requests: To attend and manage your requests to Us.

l  For business transfers: we may use your information to evaluate or conduct a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of our assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which personal data held by us about our service users is among the assets transferred.

l  With Affiliates: We may share your information with our affiliates, in which case we will require those affiliates to honor this Privacy Policy. l  With business partners: We may share your information with our business partners to offer you certain products, services or promotions.

l  With other users: when you share personal information or otherwise interact in the public areas with other users, such information may be viewed by all users and may be publicly distributed outside.

2.2 Retention of Your Personal Data

The Company will retain your personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use your personal data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

The Company will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period of time, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of our service, or we are legally obligated to retain this data for longer time periods.

2.3 Delete Your Personal Data

You have the right to delete or request that we assist in deleting the personal data that we have collected about you.

Our service may give you the ability to delete certain information about you from within the service.

You may update, amend, or delete your information at any time by signing in to your account, if you have one, and visiting the account settings section that allows you to manage your personal information. you may also contact Us to request access to, correct, or delete any personal information that you have provided to us.

Please note, however, that we may need to retain certain information when we have a legal obligation or lawful basis to do so.

 

3. Third-Party SDK Catalog 

3.1 Firebase Crashlytics / Performance / Analytics 

Types of Information Collected: Crashlytics Installation UUID, Firebase Installation ID, crash stack traces, performance issues, log data, etc. 

Purpose: To collect crash reports and analyze performance issues. 

Usage Scenario: When the ap crashes or has performance problems.

4Payment

Users need to pay to download the app before accessing all its features. For information on payment and refund policies, please refer to the user agreement.

 

5. Terms for Minors

5.1 If you are under 14 years old or under the legal age defined as an adult in your country, you can only use the Photo Search app and related services with permission from a parent or guardian. They must also agree to this Privacy Policy.   

5.2 If you are a parent or guardian of a minor under 14 or under the legal age in your country, you need to read and agree to this Privacy Policy on behalf of your minor before allowing them to use the Photo Search app and related services. 

5.3 We will protect the personal information of minors according to relevant national laws and regulations and will only collect and use such information in situations where it is legally permitted, where parents or legal guardians have expressly consented, or where it is necessary to protect minors. 

5.4 If you are a parent or legal guardian and have any concerns about the personal information of the minor you supervise, please contact us using the information provided in this Privacy Policy.

 

6. Changes to this Privacy Policy  

6.1 To provide you with better services, our services may change over time, and we may need to update this Privacy Policy accordingly. When we do, the updates will become part of this Privacy Policy. However, we won’t reduce your rights under this policy without your permission.   

6.2 When updates to the Privacy Policy are made, we will issue the updated version on the "Photo Search" platform and notify you of the changes through an in-app announcement or other appropriate means before the updated version takes effect, so that you can stay informed. 

6.3 For major updates, we will give you a more noticeable notification, such as a pop-up in the app, to explain the changes. Major changes referred to in this Privacy Policy include, but are not limited to: 

(1) Significant changes to our service model, such as changes in the purpose for processing personal information, the types of personal information processed, or how personal information is used; 

(2) Significant changes to our ownership structure, organizational structure, such as changes resulting from business adjustments, bankruptcy, mergers, etc.; 

(3) Changes in the primary recipients of personal information sharing, transfer, or public disclosure; 

(4) Changes to your rights regarding personal information processing and how those rights can be exercised; 

(5) Changes to the department responsible for handling personal information security, contact methods, or complaint channels; 

(6) If a personal information security impact assessment report indicates a high risk.

 

7. Severability

We will strictly comply with the laws and regulations of the user's location with respect to the protection of personal information and privacy in the Application, such as the General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union and the California Privacy Right Act of the State of California, United States. If this Privacy Policy is found to be unenforceable or invalid in the event of a conflict with any laws or regulations or Apple`s policies that may be applicable, such provision will be modified and interpreted to achieve the objectives of such provision to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law or rule, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

8.1 The headings in this Privacy Policy are for convenience and readability only and do not affect the meaning or interpretation of any provisions in this Privacy Policy. 

8.2 The copyright for this Privacy Policy belongs to the Company. To the extent permitted by law, the Company reserves the right to interpret and modify this Privacy Policy.
